realwoke.org is a tool that enables Christians to share the Gospel with the people in their life. Share the site, blog posts, and other content. Direct people to request Bibles from us. Our ultimate goal is to direct people into faithful Christian churches that trust the supernatural work of God in bringing people to faith in Jesus Christ (summary of beliefs). There are no apologies for proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. No subtle, round-about methods of sharing the Gospel will be employed. We proclaim Christ crucified as a substitute for sinners and risen from the dead for their justification. The world is lost in sin, but today is still the day of salvation. Christ continues to call sinners to repent and trust Him to save them from their sins. Pray for this ministry, and please…Use it to share the Gospel and your faith with others! If you are a church who receives people as a result of this ministry’s efforts, we praise God for His work, we praise God for your willingness to minister to them, and we pray for your faithful, abundant, and patient ministry with these dear souls who have found salvation in Jesus Christ and been given into your care.
The Christian’s Great Mission – Have We Forgotten It? Let Us Remember!
“…I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.” – 1 Corinthians 9:22
1 Paul’s great object was not merely to instruct and to improve people but to save them from their sins. Yes, people…all people regardless of the world’s groupings and prejudices…are sinners, and salvation from their sins through faith in Jesus Christ is their greatest need. Anything short of this would have disappointed the apostle Paul; he would have men and women renewed in heart, forgiven, sanctified, in fact, saved and nothing short of that. Have our Christian labors been aimed at anything less than this great goal? If so, then let us correct our ways. What good will it be at the last great day to have taught and moralized men if they appear before God unsaved? Blood-red will be our hands if we have sought inferior goals and forgotten that men and women need to be saved. Paul knew the ruin of mankind’s natural state and did not try to educate them but to save them. Paul saw people sinking to hell and did not talk of refining them but of saving them from the wrath to come. To see their salvation, he gave himself up with untiring zeal to telling abroad the Gospel, to warning and urging people to be reconciled to God. Paul’s prayers were persistent and his labors incessant. To save souls was his consuming passion, his ambition, and his calling. Paul became a servant to all mankind, toiling for his fellow human beings without prejudice, feeling a woe within him if he did not preach the Gospel. He laid aside his preferences to prevent prejudice; he submitted his will to others when it was of mere earthly importance, and if men would receive the Gospel, he raised no questions about forms or ceremonies: the Gospel was the one all-important business with him. If he might save some, he would be content. This was the crown for which Paul strove, the sole and sufficient reward of all his labors and self-denials. Perhaps you wish to see churches full of people and full of fervent zeal for Christ? We must first tell the unsaved of Christ! Dear reader, have you and I lived to win souls in this noble way? Are we possessed with the same all-absorbing desire? If not, why not? Jesus died for sinners, and we should live for them and pursue them for Christ. Where is our tenderness? Where is our love to Christ if we seek not His honor in the salvation of people everywhere? O that the Lord would saturate us through and through with an undying zeal for the souls of men and women.
